Buenas tardes, hoy hemos estudiado las páginas 24 y 25, llevan copiado en la libreta el resumen que os muestro a continuación. Deben hacer el ejercicio 3 de la página 25 (la mayoría lo han hecho en clase)

The atmosphere – La atmósfera

The atmosphere is the layer of air that surrounds Earth.

Different gases make up the air:

-             nitrogen

-             oxygen

-             carbon dioxide

-             water vapour

It is divided into:

-             top layer

-             bottom layer

La atmósfera es una capa de aire que rodea la Tierra. El aire está formado por diferentes gases:

-             nitrógeno

-             oxígeno

-             dióxido de carbono

-             vapor de agua.

Se divide en:

-             parte alta

-             parte baja

3º EP- Natural Science

Buenos días hoy hemos estudiado el sistema circulatorio y el excretor, correspondiente a la página 31, llevan una fotocopia en su libreta. De deberes el ejercicio 1 de dicha pagina, ya explicado en clase (deben relacionar cada palabra con la columna correspondiente)

The circulatory system

The circulatory system transports nutrients and oxygen around the body. It also carries waste substances that the body wants to get rid of. It includes:

-       the heart : is responsable for pumping blood around the body through the blood vessels.

-       the blood vessels: carry blood cells around the body. There are 3 types :

-       arteries

-       veins

-       capillaries

The excretory system

The excretory system is responsable for removing unwanted substances from the body.

1.     The kidneys filter the blood to take out harmful waste. The remaining fluid is known as urine.

2.     Urine travels through the ureters to the bladder where it is stored.

3.     Urine leaves the body through a tube called the urethra.

   

El sistema circulatorio

El sistema circulatorio transporta nutrientes y oxígeno por el cuerpo. También lleva sustancias de desecho de las cuales el cuerpo quiere deshacerse. Incluye:

-       el corazón: es responsable de bombear sangre por el cuerpo a través de los vasos sanguíneos.

-       los vasos sanguíneos: llevan glóbulos por el cuerpo. Hay 3 tipos:

-       arterias

-       venas

-       capilares

El sistema excretor

El sistema excretor es responsable de eliminar sustancias no deseadas del cuerpo.

1. Los riñones filtran la sangre para sacar desechos dañinos. El fluido que queda se conoce como orina.

2. La orina viaja a través de los uréteres a la vejiga sonde se almacena.

3. La orina deja el cuerpo a través de un tubo llamado uretra.
